Hoya Carnosa
A wonderful succulent-like houseplant that is drought tolerant and easy to care for, as long as they shine in a bright window. A couple of hours of direct sun is ideal for growth, but they can certainly tolerate indirect. The more light, the more color/variegation they develop, which is typical on some varieties of white, yellow, and pink.
Most are native to South and Southeast Asia, and there are over 500 varieties to choose from! They are primarily displayed as hanging, vining plants, but sometimes they come in cute heart-shaped gifts as well.
Light:
Bright indirect to moderate light.
Water:
All the slow to dry 60-80% before watering thoroughly.
Varieties:
Kerrii, Hindu Rope, Australis, Speckled, Tricolor, Krimson Princess, Pubicalyx, and more.
